The brand the work deserved, built to be found.
HAVEN
Who they are
A birth, postpartum, and matrescence support practice led by doula Wendy, serving New Braunfels and the surrounding Central Texas communities: Canyon Lake, San Marcos, Seguin, and San Antonio.
The problem
The practice had history but no identity of its own. Years earlier it had belonged to a doula who eventually stepped away; what was left was a dormant social page under a placeholder name, no website, and nothing that told an expecting family who ran it, what it offered, or why to trust it. The new owner, an established, trusted doula, needed the whole foundation from scratch: a real brand, an intentional website, and a way to actually be found by the families looking for exactly what she offers.
What we built.
Guided the move to Haven: an identity built around safety, grounding, and support rather than the clichés common to birth-industry branding, with a voice organized around a few clear themes, held, grounded, becoming, whole-mother care, trust. The offer was shaped into three plain pillars, Birth Support, Postpartum Care, and Matrescence Guidance, under one line: a grounded haven for birth, postpartum, and becoming.
Designed and developed a new branded site, built in clean, statically generated, search-accessible pages, with responsive design. Every page written in the owner's own voice, structured so each service, and each family's question, has a clear place to land.
The part that decides whether any of it gets seen: we built the site so search engines, and the parents typing questions into them, can actually find it. Every page and article was set up to stand on its own in search, the practice's real service areas were made clear to Google, and a library of birth and postpartum articles was built into content that shows up when local families go looking for answers.
Put the tools in place to see how the digital infrastructure is performing and to keep improving it: tracking that shows what's working, a direct line to how the site appears in Google, and monitoring so new content gets found quickly. Rather than treating launch as the end of the project, we built a system we can actively grow.
Selected screens.
The outcome.
In one line: we turned a successful local doula practice into an extensible brand, then rebuilt the infrastructure underneath it so her expertise could actually be understood by search engines.
A practice with real history, finally given a name, a home, and a way to be found.
