SURFACE SKIN
Who they are
An expert-led corrective skincare practice by an established esthetician, rebranded and built around personalized, results-driven treatment rather than conventional spa culture.
The problem
The old identity didn't communicate the real expertise or philosophy. The opportunity was to leave behind the tired beauty-industry territory of quick fixes and surface-level aesthetics, and build something more intelligent: a brand about understanding why skin behaves the way it does. That idea became the brand.
What we built.
Renamed and repositioned the brand around the line: what shows on the surface is a reflection of what's happening beneath it. A minimal, editorial identity: logo system, typography, palette, imagery direction, and brand guidelines, in a voice that combines clinical understanding with personalized, holistic care.
A full content system built so the practice could win new clients directly, not just inherit them by referral: every treatment given its own clear, searchable page, so someone researching a specific skin concern finds Surface, and understands the thinking behind the fix.
A new social identity, supporting assets (including a treatment menu ready for print and digital applications), and a launch plan that carried the existing audience into the new brand while opening a front door for new ideal clients.
Selected screens.
The outcome.
The new brand and website launched, and 20+ treatments went from a flat service menu to structured, searchable content under one coherent brand. A business that ran on word of mouth now has a brand that can bring people in on its own.
The difference between a business that waits for referrals and one that can go out and earn them.
